What are tingsha bells:
Tingsha bells are used by Buddhist monks, but they are also applied in the shamanic tradition.
Just like singing bowls, tingsha are made of seven different metals. Two small cymbals.
Tingshas (ding-shas, cymbals) are used as musical offerings in spiritual practices, and during meditation, at set times to maintain focus.
These musical offerings are used during pujas (prayer rituals) where multiple instruments have a place: bells, drums, cymbals, and trumpets. Musical offerings are certainly common in many Tibetan Buddhist and Hindu rituals.
Nowadays, they are used by both laypeople and priests. They are also a fixed component in feng shui (harmonizing living and working spaces), during meditation, cleansing spaces and bodies, healing, and balancing energy.
For what purposes can I use tingshas?
You can strike the two discs against each other to create a beautiful, clear, high tone that lingers for a long time, purifies the atmosphere, and evokes an extraordinary feeling of silence.
The sparkling tone of a tingsha resonates directly in our hearts. You can use them to refocus, to become aware of who we are and what our priorities are in this often turbulent illusory world.

Each tingsha is cast separately in various metal alloys, usually consisting of at least three different ones. Most cymbals are made of bronze, which mainly consists of copper and tin, to which small amounts of nickel are sometimes added.
Higher quality tingshas contain seven or more (up to twelve) metals, giving them a powerful harmonious resonance when struck.
